Additional Project Activities

We also try to incorporate and support external activities and local providers within all our projects and programs if possible. See the TOP TEN FAVOURITES of 2014 as voted for by young people.

Why not give them a try for yourself?  We would definitely recommend them!

Eamon at CAMPSIE KARTING provides a fantastic service and is great with the young people. Different packages are available which really helps with the budget and nothing is too much trouble for Eamon and the staff. BRILLIANT!

Andrew and his team at DONEGAL AIRSOFT always ensure a really fun filled visit with lots of competition for the young people and leaders guaranteed. Airsoft, Crazy Golf and Archery all on offer and great package deals available. Perfect for those really wet summer days or as part of your winter program.

We have used and enjoyed many different paintball providers but Richard at OAKFIRE PAINTBALL goes that extra mile! Giant Swing and Zorbing also goes down really well with the young people!

We came across this activity by accident but now it is one of the most requested for return visits! Theresa and the staff at INISHOWEN QUAD SAFARI provide a great welcome, excellent service and friendly atmosphere. They also provide an excellent outdoor Lazer Tag activity.

A fantastic new addition to the activities on offer at Dundonald Ice Bowl and one which the young people (and leaders) really enjoyed, and indeed have requested a "return visit" to! Not only a new and fun-filled experience, but great for competitive team building.

It is often difficult to negotiate residential based provision for young people which, not only has all the necessary physical space required but staff which can understand the unique challenges associated with this customer base. Farset is not only a community based social economy project which we are only to happy to support, but it has also proven to be a great success and is especially popular with our young people and volunteers.

A new activity on offer now at the Campsie Karting Centre and one which, allows for the ever popular "paintballing" to take place whatever the waether!

No summer is complete without at least one of our groups visiting this facility! As popular as ever with young people of all ages, whether they are testing their skills on the diving platforms or just enjoying the thrill of the water chutes. The water park has been undergoing a large refurbishment program recently and we look forward to sampling the new facilities in 2015.

One of the favourite activities as voted for by the young people! Visits to the Belfast Giants Ice Hockey Games are always one of our most popular initiatives and always oversubscribed.

Although not a "local provider" the popularity of this activity ,which the young people undertook on our visit to Liverpool last summer, was such that they demanded it be included in their Top 10 list In addition to great team building, climbing and abseiling activities they were able to undertake an added bonus was "catching up" with one of our past volunteers who was now working at the venue and facilitated our visit.
